A Lonely Jungle

My mate referred it as “the lonely jungle”. An often talked about but less visited Rajaji National Park.

RajajiLonely ‘cos we have spotted many species – vulture, CHE and few other birds alone at a distance on tree tops or bushes in the quite jungle where unlike many other jungles like Corbett, Ranthambhore or Tadoba everything was dead silent.

Often referred as a place to see leopard, we didn’t had the luck to see one- continuing my zero count till date in the jungle. Yes, there were interesting moments inside and around the park which were fun and will remain afresh in my mind.

That was my first visit. Perception might change in the second.
